UPDATE 1-Kazakhstan March inflation slows to 0.6 pct m/m

ALMATY, April 1 (Reuters) - Inflation in Kazakhstan eased to 0.6 percent in March in month-on-month terms from 0.8 percent in February, the state statistics agency said on Tuesday.
In January-March 2008 consumer prices rose 2.5 percent, largely unchanged from 2.6 percent recorded in the same period of last year, it said.
In year-on-year terms, inflation stood at 18.7 percent in March 2008, the agency said.
Annual consumer price inflation in Central Asia's biggest economy was 18.8 percent in 2007 compared with 8.4 percent in 2006.
