Indian corn futures seen opening up; barley down

MUMBAI | Mon May 12, 2008 9:11am IST

MUMBAI May 12 (Reuters) - Indian corn futures are likely to open higher on Monday on fresh buying, analysts said.

However, arrival pressure of the winter crop may limit the gains, analysts said.

The most-active June futures NMZM8 ended at 797.5 rupees per 100 kg on the National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX) in the previous session.

BARLEY:

Indian barley futures are likely to open lower on arrival pressure, analysts said.

The most active June futures NBLM8 ended at 1,171 rupees per 100 kg, on NCDEX, in the previous session.
