Soccer-Euro-Ronaldo says he has had foot injury for three months

BASEL, June 19 (Reuters) - Cristiano Ronaldo has been playing with a foot injury for three months, the winger said after his Portugal team lost 3-2 to Germany in the Euro 2008 quarter-finals on Thursday.
"I'm going to have an operation now," Ronaldo told reporters. "I have had a small problem for about three months, in my foot.
"I'll have the operation and then have a good recovery period."
