TABLE-India funds' average assets fall 2.8 pct in Sept

 MUMBAI, Oct 3 (Reuters) - The average monthly assets under
management of Indian mutual funds fell 2.8 percent to 5.3
trillion rupees in September, data from the Association of
Mutual Funds in India showed on Friday.
 In August, the average assets had risen 2.8 percent to 5.4
trillion rupees.
 The following table shows mutual funds' average assets in
billions of rupees and growth over various time periods:
