Shell's India arm buys LNG from Australia project

NEW DELHI Jan 7 (Reuters) - The Indian arm of Royal Dutch Shell (RDSa.L) has bought 80 million cubic metres of liquified natural gas from Australia's Northwest Shelf project at $9.06 per mmbtu, an industry source told reporters on Wednesday.
"Shell's 80 mmscm cargo is reaching Hazira tomorrow. This is their first spot LNG cargo after Oct. 13," the source said. (Reporting by Mayank Bhardwaj, Editing by Mark Williams)
