India Hot Stocks: Apollo Tyres up after company guidance

MUMBAI Feb 12 (Reuters) - The following stocks were on the move at the BSE on Thursday.
At 10.40 a.m. the benchmark 30-share BSE index .BSESN was down 1 percent at 9,520.44 points.
The 50-share National Stock Exchange Index .NSEI was down 0.59 percent at 2,908.5 points.

* Apollo Tyres Ltd's (APLO.BO) shares were up 4.7 percent at 17.75 rupees after the tyremaker said it expected profit in FY09 to be better than before and will cut jobs. [nDEB000480]

* Shares in newspaper publishers opened up between 4 percent and 11 percent after the Economic Times reported the government waived customs duty on newsprint to provide relief to the print media industry.
Shares in Jagran Prakashan Ltd (JAGP.BO) were up 6.48 percent at 57.50 percent, while Deccan Chronicle Holdings (DCHL.BO) was up 2.19 percent.
