JAKARTA (Reuters) - The following is a snapshot of recent developments in Indonesia's presidential election campaign ahead of voting on July 8.

Three presidential-vice presidential teams are running: President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono and his deputy, former central bank governor Boediono; former President Megawati Sukarnoputri and her deputy, Prabowo Subianto; and Vice President Jusuf Kalla and his deputy, Wiranto.

The source of each report is in brackets unless from Reuters.

MEGAWATI-PRABOWO TEAM WARN OF FRAUD WORRIES

* Hashim Djojohadikusumo, an adviser to the Megawati-Prabowo team, said that the campaign team had asked for clarification over why the General Election Commission (KPU) had shut 69,000 polling stations despite an increase in the number of voters on the electoral roll.

The adviser also said the campaign had still not yet received the final electoral roll just days ahead of the July 8 election. He also alleged that 2.2 million fictious names had been found on the electoral list in five counties in East Java.

"We think there is a serious possibility of fraud, voter fraud and widespread cheating if not handled properly by the authorities," Djojohadikusumo, who is the brother of Prabowo, told a lunch with foreign correspondents.

POLL BODY MAY BE CHARGED FOR VOTER LIST ERRORS

* The board of the General Election Commission (KPU) could be charged and imprisoned for their failure to prepare valid voters lists, said legal expert Irmanputra Sidin.

An investigation by the House of Representatives found that around 50 million eligible people have not been registered on the voters lists for the forthcoming election. (Jakarta Post)

VP CANDIDATE PRABOWO PROMISES NOT TO IMPORT MILK

* Vice presidential candidate Prabowo Subianto said he would stop importing milk if he and presidential candidate Megawati Sukarnoputri won the election, since this milk has lowered the income of local farmers and domestic producers. (Jakarta Post)

YUDHOYONO-BOEDIONO CAMPAIGN HAS MOST COMPLAINTS

* The Elections Supervisory Board (Bawaslu) said it had received the highest number of campaign violation reports for the Yudhoyono-Boediono team, with a total of 47 reports as of June 30. The Kalla-Wiranto team was reported to have violated campaign rules 33 times and the Megawati-Prabowo team 16 times. (Koran Tempo, Media Indonesia)
