HYDERABAD, India | Wed Mar 3, 2010 3:18pm IST

HYDERABAD, India (Reuters) - A navy aerobatic aircraft crashed into a residential area during an air show in Hyderabad on Wednesday, killing two pilots and a civilian, police said.

Three others were injured.

TV images showed the plane, a small indigenously built aircraft which was flying as part of an acrobatic formation, swirling down and crashing into a neighbourhood close to the city airport.

Smoke billowed out seconds after the plane crashed.
