The firms will offer private and public capital raising, M&A advisory as well as India entry consulting to US clients.

IMaCS Virtus Global Partners and Chatsworth Securities, LLC have announced a strategic relationship to provide investment banking and advisory services to companies, and strategic and financial investors with interest in the US and India.

The tie-up will lead to integration of their services as well as through coordinated marketing and sales activities. The firms will jointly offer private and public capital raising, M&A advisory as well as India entry consulting to clients in the US, India and elsewhere.

"This partnership brings together the respective strengths of both firms in cross border investment banking and advisory services," said Anil Kumar, Managing director and CEO, IMaCS Virtus Global Partners.

"Strategic and financial investments between US and India continue to grow at a rapid pace and there is a need for experienced advisors who can structure these cross-border transactions effectively," he added.

Swatick Majumdar, Managing Director, Chatsworth Securities said in a statement, "With a significant rise in cross-border mergers, acquisitions and investment the need for expert advice is apparent, customers will be able to leverage Chatsworth Securities’ vast expertise in public and private capital raising, international M&A and institutional relationships in addition to IMaCS Virtus’ local knowledge and experience in India."

Chatsworth Securities LLC is a Connecticut based investment bank that is engaged in advisory services and public and private capital raising.

It has served as an advisor on both domestic and international M&A transactions besides raising capital for large and small companies, participated as an underwriter in several hundred equity public offerings, and raised over $2 billion for traditional and alternative money managers.

It has also been an underwriter in municipal bonds and has a bond trading team that is involved with corporate, government and CDO issues.

New York-headquartered IMaCS Virtus Global Partners offers advisory services to North American companies and private equity funds seeking India related growth, investment and sourcing opportunities.

It provides India related strategy & roadmap consulting, partner/ target search, operation setup & support, cross-border M&A advisory, project/ bid advisory and transaction advisory services.
