Shougang Peru declares force majeure on strike

LIMA, July 5 (Reuters) - Shougang Hierro Peru (SHP.LM), Peru's only iron ore miner, said on Monday it will not be able to meet some of its contractual obligations because of a labor strike.
Raul Vera, an executive at the company, said the miner was declaring force majeure as the walkout enters its second week. (Reporting by Teresa Cespeds; Writing by Terry Wade; Editing by David Gregorio)
