Indian 10-yr yield falls after inflation data

MUMBAI, July 14 (Reuters) - India's 10 year benchmark bond yield fell 2 basis points after June inflation data came in slightly lower than market expectations.

At 11:34 a.m., the yield on the benchmark 10-year bond IN078020G=CC fell to 7.61 percent from 7.63 percent before the data. It had closed at 7.62 percent on Tuesday.

India's wholesale price index (WPI) INWPI=ECI rose an annual 10.55 percent in June, slightly slower than the 10.80 percent forecast by a Reuters poll, government data showed on Wednesday. [ID:nDEL003125] (Reporting by Neha D'silva; Editing by Ramya Venugopal)
