NORDIC STOCKS - Factors to watch on September 1

HELSINKI, Sept 1 (Reuters) - The following stocks may be affected by newspaper reports and other factors on Wenesday:

HQ BANK (HQ.ST)

The liquidator for Swedish investment bank HQ, who is looking for a buyer for the bank after it was closed by the authorities at the weekend, said on Wednesday he was optimistic a deal was close.

The Financial Services Authority cancelled HQ Bank's operating licence on Saturday and on Monday it was put into forced liquidation. The holding company which owns the bank has appealed to a court against the liquidation decision.

"I consider that an agreement for HQ Bank is close," lawyer Bjorn Riese, appointed as the liquidator, said in a statement. He said negotiations would take place on Wednesday.

VESTAS (VWS.CO)

The world's biggest wind turbine maker holds an investor conference in the United States. The Danish firm on Aug. 18 unexpectedly cut it s full-year earnings outlook after posting a surprise quarterly loss, sending its shares into a tailspin. [ID:nLDE67H0D2]

CRAMO (CRA1V.HE) Finnish building equipment rentals firm Cramo updated its financial targets for 2010-2013 at its capital markets day and said it aims to grow its sales annually by more than 10 percent.

It also said it targets EBITA (earnings before interest, tax and amortization) margin higher than 15 percent of sales, return on equity above 15 percent and maximum gearing at 100 percent.

It kept the profit distribution policy unchanged at one thind of the annual net result.
