Thai Amata shares surge 15 pct on land sales target

BANGKOK, Sept 2 | Thu Sep 2, 2010 8:43am IST

BANGKOK, Sept 2 (Reuters) - Shares in Thailand's top industrial estate operator, Amata Corp Pcl AMAT.BK, jumped more than 15 percent on Thursday after the company raised its 2010 land sales target. [ID:nWNAS9280]

At 0310 GMT, the stock was up 15 percent at 16.80 baht after rising to 17.20 baht, the highest in more than two years. The broader market .SETI was 0.9 percent higher.

Broker Aira Securities said in a note to clients it raised its target price for 2011 to 22.50 baht from 12.80 baht. (Reporting by Khettiya Jittapong; Editing by Alan Raybould)
