MUMBAI, Sept 3 (Reuters) - Indian shares provisionally closed 0.2 percent lower on Friday, on caution ahead of U.S. August employment report, with Reliance Industries (RELI.BO) leading the losses.

The 30-share BSE index .BSESN provisionally ended down 0.16 percent, or 29.53 points, at 18,208.78 points with 17 components of the 30-share BSE index losing ground.

The 50-share NSE index .NSEI provisionally closed down 0.2 percent at 5,476.75 points. (Reporting by Ami Shah; Editing by Harish Nambiar)
