NEW DELHI | Thu Dec 16, 2010 5:32pm IST

NEW DELHI (Reuters) - Foreign Minister S.M. Krishna said on Thursday there was enough room for both China and India to grow in the global economy, backing conciliatory comments made by the Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao.

China and India are the world's two fastest growing major economies, and are in increased competition for natural resources and global influence across the world.

Krishna was speaking at an event as part of Wen's three-day visit to New Delhi.
