HOUSTON Jan 26 ConocoPhillips (COP.N) expects to spend $450 million on refinery turnarounds this year, similar to 2010, the company's chief financial officer told analysts on Wednesday.
"We expect the 2011 turnaround activity to be similar" to 2010, with a mixture of maintenance and other work, CFO Jeff Sheets said.
He also said the company expected less work in the first quarter this year compared with the fourth quarter of 2010, when the company finished turnarounds on five U.S. refineries. (Reporting by Kristen Hays)
