Private equity fund Pamplona buys 5 pct of UniCredit
MILAN, June 26 |
MILAN, June 26 (Reuters) - Private equity fund Pamplona said on Tuesday it had bought 5 percent of UniCredit, Italy's biggest bank by assets, becoming its second biggest shareholder.
The stake was bought by Pamplona Global Financial Institutions Fund, the investment fund by Pamplona Capital management, it said in a statement. (Reporting By Silvia Aloisi)
