"Gone Girl" holds on to top spot on U.S. bestsellers list

NEW YORK, July 12 (Reuters) - "Gone Girl" retained the top
s pot on Publishers Weekly's bestseller list on Thursday for the
second consecutive week. 
    The list is compiled using data from independent and chain
bookstores, book wholesalers and independent distributors
nationwide.
