Monza could see another shake-up, says Hamilton

LONDON (Reuters) - Formula One could be in for more surprises at next week's Italian Grand Prix because of the ban on testing, according to McLaren's world champion Lewis Hamilton.
Force India and Italian driver Giancarlo Fisichella caused a major upset in Belgium last weekend by taking a shock pole position and then finishing second for the team's first points in 30 starts.
Hamilton said Monza could be as unpredictable, with new cost-cutting measures ruling out any pre-race testing at the high-speed circuit.
"I think Monza is going to be quite a bit different from in the past because we're not testing there before the race," he said on his personal website (www.lewishamilton.com) on Thursday.
"In previous years, there was always a big test at Monza before the race and that allowed you to get the balance right and, as a driver, to get yourself prepared for the high speeds of the track.
"Now, we'll be arriving 'cold' on Friday morning and it will take a bit of work for everyone to get their cars working properly and just to get used to the lack of downforce that you need to run at Monza," added the 24-year-old Briton.
"That could have a very interesting effect on the order, particularly if the weather affects running, like it did last year."
