The turnaround and restructuring firm named Curt Smith, who had been president of the Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary in Boston, as a senior director with its health-care practice in Boston.
MORGAN JOSEPH & CO
The investment bank named Adam Steinberg, who had been an equity analyst covering the gaming and leisure industries, as a director in its corporate finance group focusing on gaming and leisure. He has been succeeded by Justin Sebastiano, who had previously been a vice president at Nollenberger Capital Partners following the gaming industry.
GUGGENHEIM PARTNERS LLC
The asset manager hired Alexander Rekeda and Paolo Torti to lead a New York-based team focused on collateralized debt obligations. Both men previously worked at Mizuho Securities USA (8411.T: Quote, Profile, Research), where Rekeda managed the structured credits products platform and Torti was head of structured credit trading.
