Russia's Norilsk plans bid for Germany's NA-report

VIENNA, Feb 7 (Reuters) - Russian miner Norilsk Nickel (GMKN.MM: Quote, Profile, Research) is planning to launch a takeover bid for Germany's Norddeutsche Affinerie (NA) (NAFG.DE: Quote, Profile, Research), according to Austrian weekly Format, citing German investment banking circles.

Norilsk is planning to offer around 35.00 euros per share, Format said in a preview of an article to be published on Thursday. The offer would value the company at 1.4 billion euros, according to Reuters data.

Norilsk declined to comment on the report.

Shares in Norddeutsche Affinerie traded up 2.42 percent at 30.07 euros by 1543 GMT. (Reporting by Karin Strohecker)
