Kazakhstan gold/forex reserves rise to $21.7 bln

 ALMATY, Sept 4 (Reuters) - Kazakhstan's net gold and foreign
currency reserves rose to $21.7 billion as of August 29 from
$20.5 billion on August 15, the central bank said on Thursday.
 It said in a statement the Central Asian state's total
international reserves rose to $48.3 billion compared to $46.6
billion previously. International reserves include the National
Fund, an oil income stability fund.
 The central bank has provided the following data for its
reserves this year:
 Aug 29              $21.7 bln
 Aug 15              $20.5 bln
 July 31             $21.0 bln
 June 30             $21.1 bln
 June 16             $21.4 bln
 May 30              $21.5 bln
 May 15              $21.0 bln
 April 30            $20.7 bln
 April 15            $19.8 bln
 March 31            $19.3 bln
 March 14            $19.5 bln
 Feb.29              $19.0 bln
 Feb.15              $18.7 bln
 Jan.31              $19.2 bln
 Jan.15              $18.5 bln
 Dec.29 2007         $17.4 bln
