Argentine farmers suspend 21-day strike over taxes
BUENOS AIRES, April 2 (Reuters) - Argentine farmers on Wednesday suspended a 21-day strike that has halted grain exports and caused food shortages, the country's four main agricultural associations said.
The farmers, angry over higher taxes on soy exports, are calling off their strike for 30 days to continue negotiating with the government, the groups said. (Reporting by Karina Grazina, Writing by Kevin Gray, Editing by Sandra Maler)
