THREADNEEDLE

The fund manager named Esther Perkins to the new role of head of Europe, Australasia and the Far East. Perkins, who will join Threadneedle on March 17, was previously fund manager for various retail and institutional global equity funds at Standard Life.

ETF SECURITIES

The commodity investment specialist named Emil Petersen to be head of Nordic sales and Neil Jaimeson to be senior sales representative for the UK and Ireland. Petersen was previously regional sales director responsible for EMEA and Nordics for index provider the FTSE Group, while Jaimeson was previously director of marketing and business development at execution-only stockbroker Selftrade.

STATE STREET CORP (STT.N: Quote, Profile, Research)

The world's biggest institutional asset manager announced that Allan Nedergaard had been appointed sales manager, to focus on expanding State Street's investment servicing business in the Nordic region. Nedergaard, previously head of Nordic business development at Northern Trust (NTRS.O: Quote, Profile, Research) in London, will report to Simone Vroegop, vice president and director of State Street's investor services business in the the Netherlands.
