SUNTRUST BANKS INC (STI.N: Quote, Profile, Research)

SunTrust, a large Southeast U.S. regional bank, said Chief Executive James Wells will add the chairman's title at the company's April 29 annual meeting. Wells, 61, will replace L. Phillip Humann, who will also step down from SunTrust's board in anticipation of his retirement in 2009 after a 40-year career with the bank.

MARSH LTD

The insurance broker and risk adviser, part of Marsh & McLennan Cos Inc (MMC.N: Quote, Profile, Research), appointed Gordon Springett as leader of its power and utility practice for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). Springett succeeds Mark Pollard, who was recently appointed head of industry, EMEA.

CLIMATE EXCHANGE PLC
