FOREX-Euro breaks above $1.52 for first time
NEW YORK, Feb 28 (Reuters) - The euro rose above $1.52 on Thursday for the first time in its nine-year history as investors bet that U.S. interest rates are set to fall further even as Europe's benchmark rate stays unchanged.
The euro EUR= rose as high as $1.5204, according to Reuters data, before retreating to 1.5201. (Reporting by Nick Olivari; Editing by James Dalgleish)
