FOREX-Dollar falls vs euro on slide in consumer sentiment

NEW YORK, Feb 15 (Reuters) - The dollar fell against the euro on Friday after a gauge of U.S. consumer sentiment plunged to its lowest since 1992.

The euro pushed above $1.47 for the first time in nearly two weeks to trade at $1.4709 <EUR=>, up from around $1.4685 before the Reuters/University of Michigan consumer sentiment report. (Reporting by Steven C. Johnson; Editing by James Dalgleish)
