China's New Century Shipbuilding eyes 2008 IPO

JINGJIANG, China, June 12 (Reuters) - New Century Shipbuilding Co Ltd, the country's largest private shipyard, is planning an initial public offering overseas later this year to raise 5-10 billion yuan, Chairman Yuan Kaifei said on Thursday.

Yuan was speaking to reporters on the sidelines of a conference in the eastern coastal province of Jiangsu. (Reporting by Xie Heng; Editing by Alan Wheatley)
