MELBOURNE, July 9 (Reuters) - Australia's competition watchdog said on Wednesday it had some concerns over grocery wholesaler Metcash Ltd's (MTS.AX: Quote, Profile, Research) bid for the pharmacy arm of Primary Health Care Ltd (PRY.AX: Quote, Profile, Research), and was seeking industry comment.

Primary wants to sell the business for around A$900 million ($857 million) to help cut debt following its takeover of Symbion Health. Final bids for the consumer business are due this week. ($1=A$1.05) (Reporting by Sonali Paul)
