Bekaert to buy remaining 50 pct in Turkey's Beksa

BRUSSELS, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Belgian steel cord and wire manufacturer Bekaert (BEKB.BR: Quote, Profile, Research) said on Monday it would buy the 50 percent it does not already own in its smaller Turkish counterpart Beksa for 40.3 million euros ($58.94 million).

Bekaert said Beksa employed about 330 people and recorded 80 million euros of sales in 2006. (Reporting by Julien Ponthus, editing by Will Waterman)
