Dec 20 (Reuters) - Israel's Partner Communications Co Ltd (PTNR.O: Quote, Profile, Research) said a lawsuit was filed against it and two other mobile communications operators, alleging they had erected cell sites near the plaintiffs' properties illegally, causing environmental damage.

The plaintiffs estimate the class damages against all three cellular operators together at 1 billion Israeli shekels.

The lawsuit, which requests certification as a class action, seeks various remedies, including the removal of all allegedly illegal communications devices, the company said. (Reporting by Dhanya Skariachan in Bangalore; )
