SANTIAGO (Reuters) - Chilean forestry and paper company CMPC CAR.SN said on Wednesday its first-quarter profit rose 23.3 percent from a year earlier.
The company had first-quarter profit of 55.570 billion pesos ($127 million) versus 45.061 billion pesos in the year-ago period.
($1 = 437.71 Chilean pesos at the end of March)
