Brazil economic activity drops 0.48 pct in October as expected- cenbank

BRASILIA, Dec 15 (Reuters) - Economic activity in Brazil fell 0.48 percent in October from the previous month, central bank data showed on Thursday, a widely expected drop that confirms the economy continues in deep recession.

A Reuters poll of economists had forecast a drop of 0.50 percent in economic activity in October. (Reporting by Alonso Soto; Editing by Angus MacSwan)
