Brazil's economic activity falls 0.44 percent in March

SAO PAULO, May 15 (Reuters) - Economic activity in Brazil fell 0.44 percent in March from February after seasonal adjustments, the central bank said on Monday, capping a 1.12 percent increase in the quarter.

The median forecast of economists in a Reuters poll predicted a monthly drop of 0.95 percent. (Reporting by Bruno Federowski; Editing by Chizu Nomiyama)
