Brazil's downgrade not affecting capital flows - cenbank

BRASILIA, Dec 17 (Reuters) - Brazil’s recent credit downgrade by two ratings agencies should not have a big impact in investment flows into the country, central bank president Alexandre Tombini said on Thursday.

Tombini told journalists the bank will continue to monitor capital flows closely. He added the interest rate increase in the United States on Wednesday was not a surprise. (Reporting by Alonso Soto; Writing by Silvio Cascione)
