Brazil central bank says not pursuing inflation target bears costs

SAO PAULO, Dec 13 (Reuters) - Failing to aim at the mid-point of Brazil's annual inflation target bears costs for economic activity, which can suffer in the light of price uncertainty, Central Bank President Ilan Goldfajn said on Tuesday.
