Brazil's Mantega says inflation under control

BRASILIA, April 5 (Reuters) - Brazilian Finance Minister Guido Mantega said on Thursday that a lower inflation reading in March shows inflation is under control and that the economy has room to grow more this year.

Brazil’s benchmark IPCA consumer price index rose 0.21 percent in March, below market expectations for an increase of 0.36 percent.
