Brazil's Temer says interest rates are falling responsibly

BRASILIA, Feb 20 (Reuters) - Brazilian President Michel Temer said on Monday that interest rates are falling responsibly and that the rate of inflation could end the year below the 4.5-percent official target.

Brazil's central bank is widely expected on Wednesday to continue its aggressive pace of interest rate cuts to revive an economy still mired in recession. (Reporting by Alonso Soto; Editing by Leslie Adler)
