LONDON, Feb 21 (Reuters) - The Bank of England said on Tuesday that it had hired Citi, Goldman Sachs, HSBC and Merrill Lynch to act as lead managers for a three-year U.S. dollar bond issue.
The BoE expects to conduct the sale in the coming weeks subject to market conditions, it said in a statement. The sale is part of an annual issuance programme to finance foreign currency reserves. (Reporting by Andy Bruce)
