Jindal Saw gets $200-mln contract from Cairn
MUMBAI (Reuters) - Pipe maker Jindal Saw Ltd said on Tuesday it had secured a contract worth more than $200 million from Cairn Energy India Pty Ltd for supply of pipes covering 600 kilometres.
Jindal would start executing this order from May and expects to complete it by December, it said in a statement. It would supply line pipes, tracer tube, insulation and bends for the Barmer Salaya pipe line, the company said.
The pipeline will be jointly owned by Cairn and state-run explorer Oil and Natural Gas Corp.
The company's order book stands at $1 billion, including this order.
Shares in the firm fell 0.24 percent to 908 rupees in the Mumbai market.
