HELSINKI (Reuters) - The pay of Nokia's Chief Executive Olli-Pekka Kallasvuo more than doubled in 2007 from the year before, while the company's share price rose more than 75 percent over the 12 month period.

Kallasvuo was paid 3.4 million euros ($5.3 million) in salary and bonuses last year according to Nokia's annual 20-F form filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) on Thursday.

That compares with 1.6 million euros he was paid by the Finnish company in 2006, when he took the position of chief executive in June.

Kallasvuo's base salary rose about 15 percent to 1.03 million euros in the year, but his cash bonuses more than tripled to 2.35 million euros.

The figures exclude gains from stock options.
