MUMBAI (Reuters) - Virgin Atlantic has renewed its contract with India's top software exporter, Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, for managed services, the Indian firm said on Thursday, without disclosing financial details.

The contract, which has been renewed for four years until 2011, will see TCS manage Virgin Atlantic's global IT systems, infrastructure and application support services, it said.

"The travel and transportation sector is emerging as a key vertical for TCS, generating about 4 percent of the company's total $5.7 billion (revenue) in FY08," it said in a statement.
