MUMBAI (Reuters) - Baring Private Equity Asia plans to invest up to half of its $1.52 billion fund, targeted at mid-sized growth companies in the Asian region, in India, a top official said on Wednesday.
"We will invest anywhere between $500-750 million in India," Founder and Chief Executive Officer Jean Eric Salata said at a news conference.
