Wockhardt gets US FDA nod for augmentin
MUMBAI (Reuters) - Wockhardt Ltd said on Thursday its U.S. subsidiary, Morton Grove Pharmaceuticals, received US FDA approval to market augmentin suspension, a pediatric drug.
The drug is used to treat several common infections, especially in children. The company intends to launch the product in the U.S in the third quarter of 2009, it said in a statement.
