Maytas requests AP govt for more time for Hyderabad metro
MUMBAI (Reuters) - Construction firm Maytas Infra Ltd said on Thursday it has requested the Andhra Pradesh state government for an extension of time for the Hyderabad Metro Rail project.
The government is yet to take a decision on the matter, it added in a statement to the BSE.
Maytas, linked to the founders of fraud-hit Satyam Computer Services, added that the company is committed to complete the project and all steps towards financial closure are being taken.
