BSE Sensex provisionally closes up 0.7 pct
MUMBAI (Reuters) – The BSE Sensex provisionally closed 0.7 percent higher on Friday, led by banks, as investors bought select stocks that were battered recently, with positive global markets helping the sentiment.
The 30-share BSE index provisionally ended up 109.07 points at 16,172.97 points with 19 components gaining.
The 50-share NSE index provisionally closed up 0.8 percent at 4,802.75 points.
