BSE Sensex extends gains to 2 pct on day
MUMBAI (Reuters) - The BSE Sensex extended gains to 2 percent on Monday afternoon as sentiment was boosted by better-than-expected September quarter GDP data and a calming of nerves about the impact of Dubai's debt crisis.
At 1:13 p.m. (0743 GMT), the 30-share BSE index was up 2.27 percent at 17,009 points, with only one component declining.
The 50-share NSE Index was up 2.4 percent at 5,061.55.
