BSE Sensex extends gains to 1 pct
MUMBAI (Reuters) – The BSE Sensex extended gains to 1 percent on Tuesday, helped by robust November sales from leading auto makers and better-than-expected GDP data for the September quarter.
At 11:59 a.m. (0629 GMT), the 30-share BSE index was up 0.98 percent at 17,0921.44 points, with only three components declining.
The 50-share NSE index was up 1.1 percent at 5,086.50.
