Food Corp of India to raise upto 2.5 bln rupees

MUMBAI (Reuters) - State-run Food Corp of India is selling bonds to raise up to 2.5 billion rupees, two merchant bankers familiar with the deal said on Tuesday.

The company is selling bonds in two tranches of 8.15 percent bonds maturing in 2022 and 8.03 percent bonds maturing in 2024, the bankers said.

The issue will be sold through a multiple-price method on August 29 up to 3 p.m., they added.
