Toronto stock index drops 100 points on lower oil
TORONTO, July 8 (Reuters) - The Toronto Stock Exchange's main index opened down 100 points on Tuesday, extending the previous session's tumble, as falling oil prices weighed on the resource-laden market.
Shortly after the opening bell, the S&P/TSX composite index .GSPTSE was down 100.74 points, or 0.73 percent, at 13,612.06. (Reporting by Jennifer Kwan; Editing by Bernadette Baum)
